Full Name: Sydney Anne Bristow Gender: Female. Age: 28. Canon or Original: Canon.
Place of Residence: Los Angeles, California. Affiliation: CIA. Occupation: Field agent.
Race: Caucasian. Nationality: American. Hair Color: Light brown. Eye Color: Hazel /brown. Description: Sydney is considered somewhat tall, standing at 5'7. She is slender and curved, and as a requirment of her job constantly keeps in shape. Her skin is pale and without freckles, and while it doesn't tan much, it's the right shade that it looks good with most wigs of various colors that she wears for disguises. She is often told that she looks a lot like her mother, though she gets her strong jaw and her nose from her father.
Sydney has wide, inquisitive eyes that she's learned to carefully guard from emotion when necessary. Her eyes are mainly brown in color, like both her parents', although they do have a tinge of green to them that can only be seen when the light hits them right. She has full lips and a bright, dimpled smile. She has no tattoos, and only her ears are pierced.
Her hair--when it isn't stuffed under some crazy wig during a mission, is brown in color, though streaked with highlights. It is fairly long, and naturally straight. Sydney tends to keep it pulled up most of the time, simply because this keeps it out of the way. When she does wear it down, she has a particular habit of tucking strands of it behind her ears.

Personality: Sydney has a many-layered personality. She is extremely professional, and takes her work very seriously. She is, perhaps, a bit over-dedicated to her job, driven by sheer determination to bring down organizations like the Covenant. If she isn't working in the field, Sydney tends to get quite restless. She doesn't like to feel useless or unhelpful, and so she's often only too eager to volunteer for an upcoming mission. Sydney is extremely stubborn and can't stand failure, and will often pursue a mission fiercely even when it seems that there is no hope left for it. But this tends to make her reckless, and she often finds herself inadvertantly putting her own life in danger.
A few of the qualities that make Sydney such a skilled agent are her manipulation skills and her ability to think on her feet. She is extremely good at improvising, and to put it bluntly, lying through her teeth. She is an excellent actress, but while she is used to taking on aliases in the field, she still has trouble lying to her friends. The truth is, Sydney has always valued her personal life greatly. She is extremely loyal to her family and friends, though her job usually prevents her from spending much time with either of them. Because of this, she's always had it in the back of her mind to one day quit her life as a spy, settle down, and actually have a life...but the circumstances have never allowed it.
She is naturally suspicious, but when she wants to believe in someone, she sometimes trusts them too easily. Sydney does like to search for the good in people, and that can make her an easy target for betrayal. On the other hand, if she doesn't decide to trust someone, she often holds such a vicious grudge that it tends to blind her.
Sydney is highly emotionally sensitive. While she is trained to withstand many torture techniques, she has been known to break when someone else's well-being is threatened. Outside her job, Sydney is generally a sweet, friendly person, but out of habit she rarely lets herself get too attached to someone.

History: Sydney grew up in Los Angeles. For the most part of her childhood, she lived with her father, because when she was six years old her mother faked her own death. As a young child, Sydney was unknowingly trained and 'programmed' to be a spy by her father, using a method known as Project Christmas. It was for this reason, perhaps, that she was recruited out of college into an organization known as SD-6. They claimed to be a secret division of the CIA, and at the time Sydney never hesitated to believe them.
She was trained for months by SD-6's forces, working at a desk until she was prepared to become a field agent. She spent years working for the organization, all the time believing that they were part of the CIA. But when she told her fiance, Danny, about who she really worked for, SD-6 had them killed. It was then that Sydney was told by her father that SD-6 was actually a terrorist organization; an enemy of the United States. So, she applied for a job with the real CIA, and worked as a double agent inside SD-6 for some time to bring them down.
When that was finally accomplished, Sydney became a full-time CIA operative. This is where she stands currently, deep within the mission to take down the Covenant.
Role Play Example:
Under the influence of the warm firelight and the blessed silence, Bridget leaned back against the wall and closed her eyes. She smiled faintly, an easy, mellow sort of smile that only appeared in those rare moments when she was at peace with the world. Conversation with her daemon had ceased, and now Kantai had abandoned his alert stance in favor leaning against his companion with ears flat against his back. His dark eyes were half-closed, and the pair almost looked like narcolepsy patients who'd gotten lost in the foyer. Actually, if that were the case, it might have made life a bit easier...at least, in Bridget's opinion. She'd always figured having a disorder and using it as a sort of scapegoat would be an ideal way to get away with things in this place. But while her mother, at one point, had been quite convinced that Bridget was bipolar, Stonebrook had given her a completely different diagnosis: she was an empath.
Said empath was now wondering if she should have been doing the homework assigned from classes she hadn't skipped instead of lounging around here. But while her thoughts wandered, she still hadn't opened her eyes, and so she hadn't noticed anyone approaching. Given that she'd come here to skip the rest of her class, she probably should have been a bit more aware of her surroundings, but that was Bridget for you. Kantai, on the other hand, stiffened beside her. His chocolate-brown eyes opened completely, and his long ears flickered upward. He paused for a moment, his nose twitching inquisitively, and then gave his human a sharp nudge. In response, Bridget let out a little sigh of contempt and opened one eye to glare at her daemon. No matter what the circumstances, Kantai could never settle down. She was about to rebuke him when she realized that he'd been trying to get her attention.
Glancing up, Bridget realized that they were no longer alone. She sat up and glanced the newcomer over as he sat down a few feet away. Beside her, Kantai rose to his paws and stretched, before taking a tiny, tentative hop toward the boy and his meerkat daemon. Bridget searched her mind and found that she couldn't match his face with a name, but he looked vaguely familiar. Perhaps he was in one of her classes? She'd attended the school for a few months, but definitely not long enough to learn the names of everyone around her. She was never really good with names, and it didn't help that Stonebrook's ranks seemed to be growing daily. Who knew there were that many kids with powers out there?
Bridget gazed over at the boy with an expression of mild curiosity, fidgeting restlessly. Her meditative state forgotten, she tried to decide where she'd seen him before. Was he...in the class she had just skipped? But no, that would have been too ironic. Still...maybe more people had been dreading that test than she'd thought. Amused at the thought, the blonde wondered exactly how common skipping class was around here. It was then, however, that she became aware of the slightly awkward silence that had fallen upon them. At first, she thought that maybe the boy had spoken to her, and she'd missed it, but when she felt the wary, bristling curiosity her daemon was giving off, she knew otherwise.
Kantai twitched his whiskers expectantly and opened his mouth to speak. It was unusual for daemons to speak to those other than their humans or other daemons, but this sort of etiquette had never held him back before. However, his human quickly reached out and laid a hand on his back. The black hare fell silent accordingly, his gaze switching to the meerkat daemon. Bridget's gesture had silently warned Kantai not to speak, because although she knew that the hare meant well by trying to start a conversation, she also knew that he was very bold. 'Bold' meaning that he often came off as...well, kind of rude. Not the best first impression.
Bridget, on the other hand, had no problem being the first to speak. "Hey...aren't you in Mr. Burnes' class? Room eighty-two?" She prompted lightly. It was a wonder she managed to remember all of her teacher's names, but there you had it. Even if she wouldn't have been able to remember them all, it wasn't like they bothered to learn every single one of their student's names. But Bridget's inward rant against the Stonebrook staff could be saved for another time. Offering a friendly smile, she added, "Guess that test was a killer, then?" She wondered how many others had decided to skip because of the mundane test ahead. Of course, Bridget herself hadn't decided to skip, but she might have considered it if she were actually given a chance to be on time.
Meanwhile, Kantai had retreated to her other side. His expression was rather disgruntled, partly because of Bridget's silent rebuke and partly because of an instinctive distrust of the strangers. Trying to appear nonchalant, he bent his head and began grooming his chest fur quickly. Bridget resisted the urge to roll her eyes, and ignored him.
